Jorge Posada Foundation Celebrity Basebowl

On Sunday November 9th, Me my son Buddy and nephew Joe attended Jorge Posada's Foundation Celebrity Basebowl Tournament at Chelsea Piers. The event raised $500,000 for the fight against craniosynostosis. Carlo's Bakery donated cupcakes to the Children and auctioned off a Tour of the Bakery. It was a great event and I spent a great afternoon with my son and nephew.

A special Thank you to the Posada Foundation and Posada Family.

  2. Hi, my name is Luigi and I'm writing you from Italy.
Me and my wife Stefania always watch your programs on tv; you are a sort of myth for my wife. She always had the dream to become a baker, and for this Christmas I've decided to give her a pastry course. I would like to ask if it is possible for you to write her a short message to wish her a good luck. This would be great for her. Our e-mail address is: luigi.valmachino(at)gmail.com.
I wish you a very merry Christmas with your big beautiful family and a still greater success for the future.
Thank you in advance and sorry for my bad english.
    Luigi

  3. Dear Carlos Bakery Employee,

Because of the show I know mama is sick with ALS and trying to find a cure. I wanted to connect the Valastro family with the Christensen family, who are too fighting ALS. Seth is 39 and started experiencing ALS symptoms at age 34. He and Amy have four children, ranging in age from 4 to 13.

The Christensens have created, The ALS Crowd, a site created to help educate and empower ALS patients and to close the gap between ALS patients and ALS doctors/researchers. They have a new online radio show called ALS Crowd Radio, hosted by ALS patient Seth Christensen, He connects top ALS researchers with patients and help patients understand the very latest discoveries.
The link to this page is: http://alscrowd.org/

They also are getting in touch with local news trying to spread the word. Here is their latest interview. You can just tell from the video that they are an absolutely incredible, God loving family.

Please share this with Mauro. The Christensens are an incredible family and I know together these families will find a cure!

I am not looking for donations for the Christensens. I am just trying to get the Valastros connected with these people so that we can forward the ALS work.
    God bless you,
    Louisa Matthews
